Member Application

If accepted, the undersigned agrees to abide by and comply with the By-Laws of the Association and all amendments thereto, guarantees the payment of his/her, its or their dues, assessments, and costs of Membership, including but not limited to annual renewal dues, Industry Fund contributions, conferring upon the Association the right to collect same by legal process, if necessary, in the event of a default in the payment thereof and further authorizes the Association to act as his/her, it's or their Collective Bargaining Agent and agrees to be governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Contracts, Programs including Equal Opportunity Programs and/or other Agreements entered into by the Association for and on behalf of its members with labor unions, duly constituted governmental bodies and agencies, whether Federal, State or Local, or any political agency or subdivision thereof, and any other organization in effect on the date this Application is accepted, and/or which may hereafter be entered into by the Association as aforesaid.

The M&SCA administers the Philadelphia Chapter (9) of the National Certified Pipe Welding Bureau. The NCPWB works closely with U.A. Local 420 to provide state-of-the-art welding instruction and testing that meets all code requirements. The NCPWB provides cost savings to members by providing weld procedures in addition to tracking welding certifications and continuities for welders employed by signatory contractors.
